We on a roll y'all

I actually got some stuff done today, I am so happy! I met with the "wedding committee" at the church and signed a contract. The bad news is that I need to look for a shawl for the ceremony because the church is not keen on a strapless gown...TRAGEDY! Anywho, my dear Fiance put all the labels and stamps on the Save-the-Date Cards so I am dropping those in the mail tomorrow(With the exception of the 16 names that I am awaiting from Mrs. Crooks). I spoke to the photographer that Ebony recommended and she sounds really cool on the phone. We scheduled a test shoot for May 5th. Please cross your fingers for me ladies that this may be it ;-)

On another note, I am meeting with the cake decorator on Thrusday...I am taking any suggestion for cakes so send me your pics! I am very partial towards a square cake (only because it is less common that round). Finally, I am hoping that all of my Bridesmaids with the exception of Kristen have their dress ordered by mid May...My dress is arriving in 12 weeks ladies so I am hoping that most of us are clothed by then ;-)

Finally, I need to get Invitations ordered this week and start working on flowers. I have one recommended florist that is affordable to mere mortals. In addition, I am looking at Whole Foods (yes, they do floral arrangements), Costco's and the net for quotes. It is starting to look like we are really getting married in 174 days (I still got plenty of time!).

Here is one invitation that we like. I know that we are not exactly going for the afro-centric theme but I figured we'll get a pass if our invitation has nothing to do with our wedding...or our save the date for that matter ;-)
